HiveBits is a beekeeping company run by engineers. In the last five seasons our hives have earned around $200,000 selling honey and bee products. Now we're building a 500-hive farm that anyone can own a piece of.
A colony can starve, sicken or die over winter without a sound. Beekeeping still runs on guesswork and paper notebooks, so you find out what went wrong months after it happened. Meanwhile the world keeps losing bees it cannot afford to lose.
We thought: what if a hive could simply tell you how it's doing?
Siniša has kept bees for fifteen years. He chairs the local beekeepers' association and is secretary of the national one. Nemanja spent ten years building software and IoT, and runs an apitherapy center in the Fruška Gora national park.
We met over the same problem, colonies dying before anyone notices, and built HiveBits to fix it. This is not a pitch deck with no bees behind it: we sell honey, bee bread, pollen, propolis and wax from our own hives.
We build our own hardware. Sensors under each hive track temperature, humidity, weight and activity, streaming live to HivePulse. Weight tells you honey is coming in. Temperature tells you the colony is alive. It's the difference between finding out in spring and knowing today.
Most asset-backed tokens ask you to trust a custodian. A live hive proves itself. You can see it's alive and producing, any time.

The farm plan rests on simple arithmetic: an average hive brings in about $455 a year from standard products alone, 30 kg of honey plus bee bread, pollen, propolis and wax. Five hundred hives, run with our hardware, turn that into roughly $147K a year.
