At HiveBits, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in beekeeping and contribute to bee conservation efforts. Our mission is to democratize access to beekeeping through innovative Web3 technology.
By tokenizing beehives and creating transparent, data-driven systems, we're building a sustainable ecosystem that benefits beekeepers, investors, and most importantly, the bees themselves.
We envision a world where technology and nature work in harmony, creating economic opportunities while preserving our planet's most important pollinators.
Our Team
Two founders: one who keeps the bees, one who builds the hardware and software around them.
Nemanja Scepanovic
Founder
Ten years building software and IoT, and tech co-founder at Examiz. Owns the Svilos apitherapy center in the Fruska Gora national park, and builds the hive sensors and HivePulse.
Sinisa Kezic
Co-founder, chief beekeeper
Fifteen years of keeping bees. Chairs the local beekeepers' association and is secretary of the national one. Runs the apiary the whole farm plan is modelled on.
Zoran Kovacevic
Beekeeping science
University researcher and educator. Advises us on colony health and the science behind what the sensors are measuring.
